The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed its National Primary Drinking Water Regulation (NPDWR) for multiple PFAS and PFOA chemicals. The proposal was published in the Federal Register on March 29, kicking off a 60-day public comment period, due May 30.

The National Special Districts Coalition (NSDC) compiled a memo in March that includes most recent federal PFAS updates, including coverage of the proposed regulation. Access the memo for more information here.
NSDC will submit formal comment to EPA ahead of the May 30 deadline. The Coalition invites its Members, affiliated special districts, and affiliated organizations to share thoughts and questions about the proposed rule to best inform its comment.
